Choose the Right Printing Method
Start with the surface you want to print, then compare the workflow, finish and production fit of DTF, DTG and UV DTF.
DTF
Best for flexible apparel production across cotton, polyester, blends and dark or light garments.
UV DTF
Best for cups, glass, acrylic, metal, ceramic, packaging and other smooth hard surfaces.
DTG
Best for premium direct-to-garment printing, especially cotton apparel and detailed one-off designs.
Cotton, polyester, blends, canvas and dark or light fabrics.
Glass, plastic, metal, acrylic, ceramic, coated wood and packaging.
Primarily cotton and cotton-rich garments.
No garment pretreatment in the standard DTF workflow.
No garment pretreatment; the transfer is applied to a prepared hard surface.
Dark garments generally require pretreatment before printing.
Bright, durable transfer with a light film feel.
Glossy, dimensional decal-style finish on hard goods.
Ink sits more naturally within the fabric for a softer hand.
Print, powder, cure and heat press.
Print, laminate and apply the transfer to the product.
Pretreat when needed, print directly and cure.
Small custom runs through repeat batch apparel orders.
Personalized gifts, labels, accessories and premium hard goods.
Detailed one-offs, premium cotton pieces and short runs.
Requires powdering, curing and heat pressing.
Designed for hard surfaces rather than garments or flexible fabrics.
Material range is narrower and pretreatment control matters.

Verified Production Test Results
Compare real tested print times, hourly output, maintenance features and durability results. Product specifications are shown separately from verified test data.
How to read these test results
Print time and hourly output are based on Haolic test conditions. Actual results may vary by artwork, print mode, environment, maintenance and workflow.
Print Size
The maximum artwork size the printer can produce, not the overall machine dimensions.
Tested Print Time
The actual time needed to complete the stated test graphic under the listed settings.
Hourly Output
Machine output calculated from the tested print speed. Manual finishing time is not included.
Printhead & Resolution
These affect speed, detail and maintenance, but do not determine final print quality by themselves.
White Ink Maintenance
Circulation, stirring and automatic cleaning help reduce settling and daily maintenance pressure.
Durability Test
Shows wash, water or scratch performance under the stated test conditions.
DTF output is measured using the stated A3 test size. Hourly output reflects printer production only and does not include every manual finishing step.
